The development and mastery of Cho Therapy began in South Korea, where Soonjin was raised. Surrounded by traditional Asian Medicine and Healing Arts such as Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Reflexology, and Energy Healing, she grew up practicing massage and healing touch as a norm in everyday life. In 1996, Soonjin realized her life’s passion for hands on Healing Arts and initiated her formal training and licensing at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy (CCMT) in Westport, CT. A decade later, she was totally immersed in the fields of Healing Arts, and is dedicated to the health and wellbeing of her clients and students. With the combination of her unique upbringing, systemized education, and her own intuitive ability for observing imbalances, Soonjin has developed a method that harmonizes the esoteric aspects of the eastern healing arts and the scientific knowledge of the west. In turn, Cho Therapy is providing its clients effective relief from pain and support in their stress management. Compassion is Soonjin’s belief and her way of life. The compassionate touch of Cho Therapy is the touch that heals. |
